Print a line or a range of lines

Switch to command mode.

Type type the number of the line you want to print followed by the p command.

1p — print the first line from the file you're editing.

$p — print the last line from the file you're editing.

5,9p — print lines 5 through 9.

1,$p — print the whole file.

,n — same as above.

Hit the Enter/Return key.
